Rebuilding the Novi 1000

haven't had much time lately but the rebuild is very simple. basically if you don't have a bearing press you'll need to take it to a machine shop to get the shafts pressed out of the gear case, and let them pull the old bearings and replace the new ones. i took it to Warrior Engines in York, PA. just found them on google, as it's along my morning commute. i dropped it off at 9:30 and picked it up by 12:00. it took him like 30 minutes but he had other stuff to finish first. cost was $60. he showed me the old bearings. one of the output shaft bearings completely fell apart once it was taken out of the blower. hopefully now with the new bearings, it will sound a lot cleaner. the seals also looked a little beat, but that could have been due to the way he removed them from the gear case.
so in the end the entire rebuild cost me about $400. this isn't TOO much cheaper than sending it in to paxton, but it was an interesting experience and i learned a lot and i feel a lot better about taking the initiative to do (part of it) myself. paxton says a "basic rebuild" is $424 plus tax. you also have to pay shipping and there's the wait time. if you have a machine shop already lined up then you can do this entire rebuild in 1 day. and who knjows if paxton will tack on extra charges for whatever reason. just guessing, since they leave it open ended and say that there "may be extra charges added upon inspection."
the guy at superchargerrebuilds.com sent me the wrong output shaft seal so i have to get the right size. so if you order from him, ask him to make sure it's the right seal. the output shaft seal he sent me was about 1 and 3/16" outer diameter, but the one that came out of the charger was 1 and 6/16" outer diameter. the inner diameter was the right size. he was supposed to get back to me and overnight me the right size seal but i don't have time to wait for him since he's not answering the phone. these seals are supposed to be between $5-10 according to my research.
once i get that seal, i just need to reassemble everything which should take me a few minutes.

if anyone orders from superchargerrebuilds.com, make sure to let him know if you have the older version or newer version of the novi 1000. the older version uses a bigger output shaft seal. he sent me the newer one which is too small.

Bumping this.
Does anyone has any tips/directions to disassemble the blower and torque settings?. I will be installing a rebuild kit (full 928 motorsports rebuild kit), any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers

Is there a serial number/description on our blowers to reference which one we have?

Im bumping this to see if anyone has any current information on rebuilding the novi 1000. I did some research on this but I still have some unanswered questions... currently there are two sources for bearings and seals kit:
http://www.superchargerrebuild.com/?page_id=3
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/...ebuild_kit.php
The cost of 928 motorsports kit is: $273shipped. While Superchargerrebuild kit is: $275
However I keep hearing that there are 2 or 3 different rebuild kits for the novi 1000, so how come 928 motorsports are selling only one?
I understand we need 2 large output shaft bearings, 2 smaller input shaft bearings, an input shaft seal, and an output shaft seal. Does anyone have part numbers for those?
When you see oil inside the supercharger is that when its time to rebuild? and if so does anyone have instructions or pictures on dis-assembly?
