Try it without heat as per jim superflys post. I will be amazed if you get it off though, so have a go and report back. Hopefully yours will come off.

If you speak with Paxton (and read on the net) you will find they heat the components before fitting as per my post.

Have a look here

Note the blow torch and glove in the second picture.

I only used a press for the output shaft seal. Everything was done using themal practices (Torch, oven and a bearing induction heater).

Did you damage the impeller seal when removing the impeller?

No damage to the seal.

Heat definitely simplifies the impeller and output shaft removal. I'll try it next time.

heats no problem, got an oxy at work, just wondering how far i have to go to get the impeller off, any more photos?
