That is an issue in that the AEM EMS ignition controller is software driven and briefly starts up for a second when powered on. Thats not his issue. My ID2000s don't cause me any problems.
Well this happens when parking the car after being at full operating temperature as Joey stated not cold. And when it does spray excess fuel into the cylinders and make the "whoomp" noise I have to pedal my throttle to get the car to start again. Car starts fine at all other times when this issue doesn't occur. I know in a previous thread alot of guys with id1000s and aem ems confirmed this happening. Never happend to me before with siemens injectors though.

I thought someone had a very similar issue -- not starting after a shutdown. He replaced the fuel pressure regulator from what i remember.

Let me look for the thread...

Here is a thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=834053&st=0

Ended up being his relocated battery. I still vaguely remember some other person had the same symptoms and solved with a fuel pressure regulator replacement.

funny you mention, my Battery is in my trunk

Does this mean my Fuel pump is not working 100% when I am in Boost?

You could definitely be getting a voltage drop across the pump. But as far as the battery being relocated to the trunk, I think that may only be a problem with your starting issue. The other OP fixed it with I believe better grounds to the engine itself from the battery. Though he did mount it on the front cross bar instead of in the trunk so it is easier for him to add a ground to the engine than in your case.

after adding the ground wires on mine, it did it less often, but still had that problem. when ever this happen, it seem like there a great amount of voltage drop and the stat sync on aem ems wasn't turning on because of the low voltage. Also my Electronic boost control +12v wire was connected directly to the aem power source, so it got relocated the the ignition power source which improve the voltage drop a little. But i was still having the problem once in a while. then i went ahead and change the main relay since the chassy had about almost a 100k already. So far i havn't encounter the problem yet. But i have a feeling it not gone yet. my next step is just fuel pressure regulator and then relocated battery to trunk using a yellow top.

when ever this happen to you, did you try using a jumper pack or a jumper battery? mine always fire up when this problem occur with a booster pack or a jumper battery. I always carry a booster pack in the trunk or a jumper just in case it happens.

Has it always done this or something that just started?

Sounds like the warm start fuel comp tables need some tweaking

could be a main relay problem.

battery could be giving out when it get hot. check for corosion and resistance in ground wires and positive terminal
