Default Question about ARP head studs

I'm about to replace my valves in my head, and already have ARP head studs installed. With that being said, Can I reuse my ARP's? They maybe have 1500 miles on them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sweet, thats what I needed to know. Is there any difference in torque when reinstalling? I know I'll need to reapply the moly lube, but anything other than that to be aware of?

That's the main selling point of APR studs, they can be re-used. About the torque, I'm not sure, I know with rod bolts, you have to account for a small amount of stretch that occurs when re-torquing. But I'm not positive about head studs.

ARP studs are not "torque to yield" so they can be re-used multiple times without issue. The factory head bolts are "TTY" which is why you have to tighten to a preset torque value, than turn the bolt 90 degrees in 3 steps, turning the bolt like that stretches the bolt to its proper clamping load.

If you have them out it wouldn't be a bad idea to just pick up the FBM L19 studs. There seems to be a big discrepancy on the procedure for them given new arp lube, old arp lube, torque specs etc etc. If you can afford to grab the FBM studs I would steer clear of that mess...
