my engine temps are very high just driving around (4/5 bars on ap1 cluster) when its past 77 degrees. Not sure if having the spal fan blowing hot air into the turbo intake has anything to do with this. Even if i run the a/c the car will overheat fairly quickly. Anyone think making a cold air intake pipe will help the engine temps?

You all think we could route the intake tube into the fender well? Or even better.. We could cut a hole in our hood and have the intake tube go through the hood. Now that's a cold air intake!I don't drive my car in the rain so its possible. Just ugly as hell . On a serious note . Do you all think we could re-route the intake tube to another location?

you could route a intake tube to the fender, thats what i had plan to do, it would deff keep rad heat off filter, and get some fresh air.

Guys, I've decided to join the Ptuning turbo club. Just put in an order with Andrew for a GTX3076 kit. Will be running E85 + AEM Series 2 and targeting 500-550rwhp. Build thread to begin soon. Thanks to all for the inspiration and to many of you for answering a bunch of my questions up front. I'm excited! Suggestions and advice are greatly appreciated.

The map is a whole lot better! Like night and day.. I notice I still get timing error and rough idle as soon as she hits 200 degrees.. 199 degrees ts fine.. 200 she acts up. :/ But it was a huge improvement.
