How about the cold air box guys! This is taking to long.
Maybe they're just barely getting by and don't have the cash necessary to scrape together the R&D costs.....

At this rate Full-Blown will fab up a PTuning CAB before PTuning does....
You guys know they don't have a shop s2000 yet, right? It's a little hard to R&D on a car you don't have possession of. Give them a break doods, I'm sure they are working hard on everything.
2nded. You guys are aware they have to run day to day operations first and foremost, right? Keeping a business profitable and running will trump new product development every day of the week.
New business, new sales, and profitable growth is the lifeblood of any business. Nothing happens until something gets sold.......

We all understand that having and running a business is demanding, but customers needs are important too, especially when that need is born from a real-world product design issue that a number of customers have expressed a need to improve or correct.

I could go back and look at the original date of the first post regarding the air-box, and read through the thread where design pictures were released with a
comment from PTuning that stated "coming soon".....and "will be available for summer 2012"
I would assume that the service aspect of PTuning is where the company does the most business. Otherwise they wouldn't have an enormous shop facility with gorgeous dyno set up.

An airbox is certainly not going to be the 'make it or break it' point of PTuning. However, I can understand your desire for the new product. Be patient, the things worth having usually take time.

Didn't you sell your car? If the answer is "yes"......you don't really have a dog in this hunt; why are you getting involved?

X2 they have cad drawings and have done a mock up of the air box so hopefully they are close. It seems like this has not been a priority for them for the reasons they have stated. They say it's coming soon so let's hope it's not another oh well it's winter now let's wait till next year.

First off, the answer is "Yes".

This is a public forum and I enjoy seeing new updates to their kit and new information of different set ups. So I still check in on the thread. Your post the other day was actually what bumped it back up for me to check in on.

Just because my s2000 has sold doesn't mean I can't show interest in the PTuning kit and voice my opinion on maintaining patience.

Anyone try running this kit with a 0.63 AR on a gtx3076r? I drove my car for the first time since october last week and the lag of the 1.06 kills the fun for me... how is the spool of the 0.82? pretty good? I would be willing to lose HP for a quick spooling fun little car.

The .82 A/R is great...! You will love it with your build...! Lag time is almost nonexistent, I was surprised at how smooth it built boost and felt very similar to the power curve I had with the Novi-1000 Super Charger.....but Waaaaaay more go go..!

IMO the .63 is too small and with your built motor set up will unnecessarily limit your power and what you can really do with your engine. S20000's gotta breath don't suffocate the monster

Bolt on that .82 get er' retuned.....with your setup, set rev limit to 9500, and V-tech to 5000 with no overlap.....and you will love it...! Our builds are so similar I'll email you my K-Pro tune......it will likely be really close. Can't remember though if you went to ID-1000 or 2000...?

Ah ok. I was going to buy a .63 and tune it to see what it was like and switch to a .82 if I didn't like it. But I guess i'll just stick with the .82 and save the money. Won't be going for the tune until it gets cooler down in san antonio.

I'm pretty sure you've sent me your map already. I have AEM series 2. Ive been kicking myself in the butt after getting the stupid 1.06 and then seeing your dyno. have you broken anything with your power yet?

Glad to know you're ready for it. Mind never happens again ever since they fixed it.
