any word on these relays getting shipped? must be busy over there called days ago someone there said they make sure toan got back to me like 4 days ago...
We just received all the components in today to build the fan relay kit. The fan relay kit is currently being assembled along with the installation instructions. We are hoping to send out the relay kit starting on Monday of next week (Oct 3). Thank you for your patience.

MrC

where do you guys get those relays from?

I believe SPAL sent them this kit and Mr C designed it to just simply plug right in and go.

Oh ok. I was just interested where they got the relay itself not the whole kit. I tried looking them up online but don't know what kind of relays they are. I like them better than the ones I get at radio shack and want to use them for other projects.

The vacuum line coming off the top of the BOV needs to be connected to a vacuum source off of your intake manifold. If you order the optional ptuning s2000 vacuum block, i suggest you hook that bov vac. line to the vac block and connect a main vac. source line from the manifold to feed the vac. block. This will allow you to add additional ports to the vac. block for other things like, FPR, boost gauge, or anything else that needs a vacuum/boost reference.

Here's the where we tap the vacuum source on the intake manifold (with and without the vacuum block):

Here, the vacuum line from the BOV is connected directly to the supplied T-fitting on the manifold vacuum source (AP2 non-DBW shown):

Here, the vacuum line from the BOV is connected to one of the bottom port on the ptuning vac. block and then the other bottom port connects to the supplied T-fitting on the manifold vacuum source (AP2 DBW shown):

I went to home depot an got another port and plugged the line into that plug hole next to the vacuum block. Would that work the same?

If you are referring to the hex plug on the red base flange of the intercooler piping, to the right of the vac. block, then NO. STOP. that port is use for the optional water meth injection nozzle. That port IS NOT a vacuum refernce port and cannot be connected to your BOV. you will need to plug it backup if you are not using it for a meth injection nozzle. Connect your BOV line to the vacuum t-fitting that is circled in the first picture.

Here is what the other ports on the intercooler piping is used for (IAT sensor on AP2 DBW, and WMI nozzle).
