Toan said to change it as a precautionary measure. I started my car to let it warm up. I walked away for a few minutes then got in and saw the oil light on. Idk if it came on right away or in the time it was idling but the point is I am not sure in that time if the turbo was being starved enough to cause a problem or worst case a problem with my motor. Im just posting to give people a heads up to change it because if everything is ok I figure to be lucky but if I were to let it warm up longer I could of had a bigger problem. Just a heads up.

I think the max ambient temperature I would run at the track is 90*. Any higher and I think you would have to ease up after hard lapping to cool things down. Thats with the PTuning oil cooler and stock radiator. I now have a koyo radiator as well and would still be cautious with tracking in high temperatures (i.e. 95+).

I've done quite a few hardcore runs back to back and the car has been tested over and over in the development stages and she always held steady. Ptuning had installed the KOYO radiator while building the kit.
I don't track my car like Jason *metros* does so he most definitely has the knowledge on this and he tracks his car pretty regularly.
On the flip side, if you don't track your car regularly or love to do spirited drives and push your car in the dead of summer like myself, I can tell you from my experience that i've never had issues with the heat and or increasing temps past 195 i believe.

There will be a major difference with a Koyo Radiator.

Yeah, I just saw that thread on the front page and went through it
I would like to be able to track my car and/or not really have weather limit me in normal cruising, as living in Nebraska, I already lose enough S2K driving time in the cold/rainy periods as is. Just trying to get my reading in...I would be looking at going FI next year so I have time to do some studying.
