I know a few of our customers had to wait quite a while to receive their complete turbo kit.
We do apologize for the inconvenience.
We finally caught up with all of our pending orders.
Our goal now is to have the kit pre-packaged, and ready-to-ship.

As of today, we have two complete turbo kits, one with GT3076R and one with GTX-3076R, ready to ship.
So, order received by 3pm EST (M-F), will ship out the same day.
This also include any exhaust options.
Fueling option will be approximately 5 extra days turn around time.

NOTE: After these two kits are sold, the next shipment of intercooler pipings will be approximately 30 days out.

What size turbo was on the white car from 2007? Do you have plans of a top mount kit later on like that car?

@ the PTuning boys..........

You Guys Need To Bust-Da-Move on that cold-air box design........Hurry Up

with all these kits you're selling, it should be an optional item that can be purchased at the original time of sale...?

maybe consider a cooling plate + shield all in 1 type of thing?
We were actually hoping to wait until the winter season to reveal our next option for the PTUNING S2K Turbo System. However, now is probably a good a time as any to go over our original idea for our airbox option.

I'm not sure if you guys remember my first setup at the 2007 HIN. It incorporated a true cold-air airbox that was fed air via vents from the front of the car. This airbox design allowed me to run consistent 124-125 mph trap speeds during a hot 95+ degree day without the need for long cooldowns. This was at about only 434whp (low boost tune)on our DD dyno.

Here's the airbox that we designed for my S2K.

Here's the current setup on our production PTUNING S2000 Turbo System:

When we set out to design the current production PTUNING S2000 Turbo System, we had plans from the get go to eventually offer an optional airbox at a later date. When development started for the production turbo system, we purposely located the air filter, the BOV, the offset fan, and the vacuum block flange at their current locations to make room for the optional airbox. The optional airbox that we have in mind for the turbo system will follow the same concept as my old set-up, but the actual design will be entirely different. Like my old set-up, our proposed airbox will feature a cold air design where the enclosed air filter will be fed fresh air via large ducting. It will isolate the turbo intake air from the hotter surrounding air sitting inside the engine compartment. We'll look into prototyping this optional cold-air airbox in the late fall, early winter timeframe.

Sounds good Toan, I will definitely be interested in one of these. Been thinking about fabbing up a cold air intake for the past few days.

Also, do you have any updates regarding that oil temp adapter/fitting for the oil cooler that was discussed previously?

Aw man... Releasing a CAI option fir the kit in the winter? I dont plan on driving My S past november. Seems like it would have been better to release it at the begining of summer.

If the kit lowers the AIT by a good amount Id get it. Otherwise I may just do the SoS CAI way

I like that idea. Could be a combination of cooling plate and block the airflow from hot radiator. Wonder if it would help or hinder HP.

With the scope of the turbo system itself, we found it very, very difficult to throw in development time for the airbox and have it be released along with the turbo system. As it stood, our turbo system already required a ridiculous number of custom components to make it what it is..... stuff never before seen on an S2K turbo system. PTUNING likes building top notch products and to do so we need to invest the time to do it right. For those interested in this option, the wait will be worth it.

In regards to building a CAI for a turbo, we prefer using a large airbox with a shorter, large intake tube to feed the turbo and have ducting feeding the airbox. Some set-ups that run a smaller size intake tube that's routed a very long distance to make it a true CAI will often loose airflow efficiency in the name of cooler intake temps - just my 2 cents.
