Congratulations man! Those are some seriously sick numbers. Andrew forwarded me the email you sent this morning and I was blown away at the dyno graph enjoy it!

Well after some issues with the current ID 1600 injectors, I will be getting retuned this Friday at Fullblown on ID 2000's. Will see what she can do with those injectors. I will have a dyno vid this time with the open dump.

I just heard about the recall for the ID1600 today! Good thing Evans found out this morning and brought a set of ID1000 with him before my tune. Wish you luck for more power

Yep, I sent Tony my calibration to make sure the 1600's were setup correctly. Thats when he told me about the issues with the 1600's. They flow fine on a controlled bench where fuel temps are regulated. In the real world the fuel gets hot and something inside the injectors expands and flows less fuel when hot! That would explain the lean conditions I would see when car was run for awhile. It was driving me nuts trying to figure out why my tune was so far off sometimes.
I was trying to stay away from the 2000's, but LJ assurred me that when properly tuned they would be just fine. I would probably not be happy with less power going to 1000's now, and did not want to mess with raising fuel pressure etc to get the 1000's to flow more.

Yeah, I upgraded to the ID2000s free of charge from tony. I really didn't want to go to 2000s but 1000s wouldn't be enough

Having problems with my 1600s too. Thing just gets leaner and leaner as you drive the car. Sucks because I just spent $600 on a tune, glad they only charged me that much considering I was on the dyno for 5 hours trying to figure out what was going on. Frustrating as they knew there was a problem about a week before I got tuned, feel like I should have been made aware of even potential issues.
Daryl should be posting some new numbers shortly, he is happy with the 2000s.

Guys, I am very impressed by the way Tony/Injector Dynamics have handled the situation. We just got done tuning Daryl's car and it was a night a day difference with the ID2000s. There aren't that many companies that will stand behind their products the way T1/ID did with theirs. I know of bigger companies that have had issues with their products and have not had the balls to make a recall. This is a prime example of "you get what you pay for" to T1/ID

THANKS LJ! for all the help and support you have given to me and I suspect all your customers. LJ did a great job as usual tuning the car so it will now run properly. The ID 2000's ran flawlessly all the way home 350 miles. AFR's rock solid 14.8-15.2 cruising on highway. No mysterious lean conditions and poor running associated with the ID 1600's.
