probleme with comptech supercharger highboost
ok i have a comptech supercharger on my 05 with front mount intercooler kit and stock exhaust. first i was running a normal boost pulley like 5-6 lbs but now i went to put a high boost pulley this is the 3 inch diameter pulley from science of speed...we put the car on the dyno and we have to put the cut off at 8300rpm because higher then this point the belt slipping and the boost peak was at 9lbs...the belt is very tight and brand new but its a normal belt in V groove.
first question: is this an exhaust trouble...restrictive?
second question: do i need a special belt or putting a special sealent on the pulley?
who already drive this kind of pulley without trouble...?
i run 350hp at the wheel on a dynapack dyno...stock engine,stock exhaust,exedy stage2 hypersingle with ligthweight flywheel,k pro management,750 rc injector,255 walbro
i need to solve this probleme to tune it to 11lbs and higher cut off
thanks for your help

Try tightening your pulley tensioner for a tighter grip. Get someone to give you a hand.
Something I use when on the dyno, and I realise the belt is stretching slightly (which it does after about 45-50 dyno pulls) is a product called Belt Grip. You should be able to pick it up from your local auto shop relatively cheap.
But don't rely on it all time because its only a bandaid solution to a hot and stretched belt. The second downfall is it has a tendancy to make the belt squeek like crazy for the first mile or 2 until the belt warms up on a first cold start. It eventually fades, and you'll notice the squeeking sound goes away after 3/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1/4 mile etc until its gone altogether after about a week.
