Default Precision Intercooler Problem

We are having a problem with the Precision 600 intercooler.
When we mounted like it was suggested it sits two low, it needs to be moved up about 3 inches, which seems nearly impossible with how high the bolt holes are one the end tanks.
I know the Inline pro fits up between the frame rails because they use thier own end tanks. On the other hand the 600 with factory end tanks dont.

Here are pics.

Any help would be appreciated

It didnt seem that anyone had any suggestions, so this is what I did.

The best part is that it is twice as strong as the aluminum L brackets

yeah I am the other person having the same problem. With the frame notched out and the intercooler raised up like you have it in the last pictures looks perfect!! I just hate the thought of cutting that out of there.

You must have just done that today?

any other precision 600 users out there with how they mounted their intercooler?
