Default powerband of a supercharger

I have a question about the powerband of supercharged s2000s. does the boost stay strong all the way to near redline, or does power start to fall after areound 6000 rpm? if anybody has pics of their dyno that would be great. thanks

The power really "begins" around 6000 rpm.

Most S2000 blowers are centrifical, basically providing a linear powerband - the higher you rev the motor the more boost you will see.

Take the stock powerband and add another 100whp at the peak.

Depends. A centrifugal unit will give you a gain that'll look like the stock hp/torque curve, but obviously higher. Power will come on strong at 6k as mentioned above. The more RPM, the more boost it makes. A roots unit makes a fixed amount of boost from a very low RPM all the way to redline. Power curve looks a lot like the stock curve, but the gains start at a much lower RPM. Torque curve gets very flat, like this:

The powerband is progressive. As the rpms climb the power increases and peak boost will be at redline.
