No dyno results yet had trouble with fuel pressure on dyno, tuner said should gain around 30 whp.

Just to chime in...I'm in the process of installing a FBM IM and Blox 74mm billet TB (yes it fits right on). There is very minor flash on the IM that needs to be port matched...but is not needed for the TB to work. I'm doing it for a nice smooth transition. I will take photos and post them up.

My question is with the IACV...does it need the coolant lines to work or can I cap the lines off? Will I throw a CEL code if I cap off the lines?
I'm still not sure about this FB IM. I want to get one but will it work on my AP1? The AP1 has this IACV right? Not sure what the IACV is for but if the FB IM doesn't come with this IACV hole then then AP1 owners can't use this IM? Is this right?

Yes the fb manifold has the iacv port on the bottom, it's for idle control it limits the air bypassing the throttle plate to keep the engine from stalling.

The whole idea behind the iacv is increasing the idle rpm until the coolant reaches a certain temp during warm up and then backs off the rpm once at operating temp so yes, the iacv does need coolant flow to and from it to work properly.

With that said, I have never ran an iacv on any aftermarket intake manifold. I have no idea about AEM, but with Motec there are temp adjusted tables so you can basically do the same as an iacv but with more precise parameters.

Thanks mate!

The IACV works perfectly without the coolant lines connected, except maybe if you start your car in freezing temps.

Hello, so did you ever have any issues with the 74mm skunk2 throttle body working with the fullblown intake?

I have the fullblown intake manifold also (just installled) and I am supercharged. however, I have a Blox Racing 74mm TB that has been sticking like crazy. Blox send me a second one, same issue....I have done some work by lubricating it, adjusting set screw, etc but it still sporadically hangs on rpm.

Thinking about trying the skunk2 one.
