perhaps a sticky would be a good Idea if there is a more specific thread for plugs. I ran for almost 9,000miles on my copper NGKs and never thought that I would have to look at them, but with all the heavy traffic going to and from base, they are covered in carbon and I now replace them with the oil since they are only $4 each.

I am also looking for plugs as I will be installing my vtsc kit in not too long.
This thread is a bit confusing on which plug should be used as I guess there are obviously multiple opinions on it.
Which is the plug for stock boost or if it works with more as well that is resistor type and should last longer?

Anybody used the e3 diamond fire on a boosted s? I wonder how good they would do. I believe they are a copper plug but with a better designed electrode.

That's ridiculous man, id be changing my plugs every month in a half if I had to do every oil change, just spend a bit more and get the 2668 iridium. I've put over 30,000 miles on the same set and they are still in great condition, they will likely be in there for another 30k, this is at 9/10psi set up with methanol injection. They have proven to be great plugs. They come pre gaped at aprox .32, dont make the mistake of trying to gap them becuase it really isn't necessary, If you do just be careful, you hear about broken tips on plugs like this becuase people who don't know what they are doing try and gap them, prying the tips in a poor fashion or back and forth several times so they get weak and break. But again they are gaped right for about 90% of us. If your cooking 700hp then you might need to close the gap a bit.

Or just get a better tuner, I don't care what plug your using that's not right... Although after reading your post again was the sole problem that they were black? That's pretty normal although maybe a bit rich, if they weren't missing you probably didn't need to replace them.
