People that have spun a bearing while boosted

This is a great thread Spooling lots of good information being exchanged here
I'm a little concerned about my oil psi too after reading this thread I'm going to down size my oil lines for the relocater hopefully that will help with my oil pressure at idle.

Are you switching to -8 oil lines on the relocation kit like me? You have the -10 dont you? Do you know how your oil pressure acts up at 9000+ rpm? Does it drop and just hold there after VTEC kicks in like mine does? What pressure are you seeing all the way to 9000+ rpm? I'd like to hear what people with the -10 lines on their relocation kits have as far as oil pressure up top after VTEC to compare it to us with the -8 lines.

Defi D-Gauge. I've had it since 03 and it started acting up after about 1.5 years of use. I rewired some things and found that the plug into the back of the gauge was slightly pulling out. I pushed it back in and it started working better but still not like it did when new. It still flips out at times. Sometimes my idle oil pressure when hot is 45-50 psi, sometimes its 30-35 psi and sometimes it flickers between 30 and 50 psi. Other times its right on at about 30 psi and holding good. Its just weird.....It seems to work better when I'm driving and the pressure is holding between 70-75 psi after 3000 rpm. Below 3000 rpm and its around 60 psi while driving. But, once VTEC kicks in, it drops to 60-65 psi and just holds there. I would have thought it would climb back up as the rpm's increase but it doesnt and just holds there to 9300 rpm. The gauge or pressure sensor could just be totally screwed though. My actual oil pressure at idle may actually be 30-35 psi and the oil pressure at over 3000 rpms may be closer to 90-95 psi and when VTEC kicks in it may only drop to 80-85 psi. But this still doesnt explain why the pressure just holds after VTEC all the way to 9300 rpm. This may just be normal though.

I'm just trying to get a lot of answers on a lot of questions we all have with various things.

^^Try the -8 first since it has been proven to work fine. -6 would probably be too small. Let me know how it goes. I'd like to know if your idle pressure goes up or not after the change.
