I've only spun one bearing in all the motors, race cars, etc. I've race over the years.
And it was when I was running E85/100.

i think that what you are seeing is normal, it seems like you are dropping about 10-15psi while VTEC is engaged, which to me seems right, VTEC is obviously driven mechanically by oil pressure so you are bound to lose some pressure during its operation......
Chadd stop worrying and hit the freaking dyno on the corn!!!!, i cant wait for the numbers!!!!

Anyway, It should be going on the dyno this Saturday. The injectors took a little longer getting in than anticipated. Will be here Wednesday.

Spinning a bearing due to e85 or 100 has to be a fluke. I mean, how in the world would the fuel have anything to due with the lubrication of the bearings? Unless your engine was built so loose and was running pig rich that fuel washed down between the rings and into the oil due to a bad tune. Or even a bad tune with a lot of detonation could cause bearing failure I'm sure. If any of this was the cause, it wasnt the fuels fault, it was a tuning issue.

I'm not worried about the engine holding up. I was just concerned about the oil pressure but it seems that its normal or my gauge is just wacked. Its the little things that make me worry. LOL

Live and learn. I should've paid more attention to my oil.

Because your target A/F is much more rich than Gas. It's not a fluke. Your oil maintenance is increased when using alcohol. Just the nature of the beast.

Are you sure e85 will be running richer? We will be tuning mine at 12.2-12.5 A/F on e85 but thats on a gas A/F o2 WB gauge. My tuner/friend has his EVO set at about 12.5 A/F on his gas wideband and hasnt had any problems. I would think thats a leaner mixture as apposed to gas but I dont know that much on the readings between e85 on the gas o2 WB gauge and with gas.
