Peace of mind, low oil damage before FI build
I'm considering a simple, street focused supercharger or turbo upgrade.
The (original) motor only has ~96k miles. However, the oil was low at least once in its life. I'm guessing around 2.5 - 2.7qts low. I caught it before it was too far gone, luckily. The oil light never came on and the motor seems fine so far. I don't know much about its history though. It could have been low other times with previous owners. I've read that with low oil, damage might have already been done and could show up later.
So for peace of mind, what should I do to make sure there's not a ticking time bomb waiting to destroy a new turbo or supercharger setup.
Forgot to mention... When I noticed the oil was low (last year) I cut the oil filter open and saw no metal shavings.
Thanks.

- Used oil analysis?
- Pull oil pan? What am I looking for? (example pictures)
