Ortiz Custom Pods
Hi
I'm looking for a new pod solution for 2-3 52mm gauges on a RHD turbo S2000.
I have previously used the S0S pillar pod but the quality isn't great and it cracked very easily.
I have now come across these -

Anyone using the either the dual or triple gauge pod dash? I curious to see on installed and how they are finished at the rear.
Cheers
Frankie

I have a four gauge setup from Ortiz. Looked awesome. Gauges barely fit, I had to sand inner barrels to get them to go in. Then first track day it cracked. Terrible communication. Seemed like a great idea. But no. Look elsewhere.

If you want a super clean look, and are a baller. The Mugen set is pretty sick:

I would do that with RHD and swap out the water temp for a Defi A/F gauge and maybe put a boost gauge on the radio control spot that many people use.

I have the 4 pod cluster bezel and will never do it again. The finish is rough, I had to trim to even get the bezel to fit, the angles and positioning of the pods are retarded and it feels like it will crack into pieces if you force it in place too much. In addition to this, I don't like having my wires exposed without drilling into anything. If you check out my build thread you can see it. I want to give him some feedback so he can make some improvements on the design. If he is local to you then its different, you would be better off that way.

Just tried to do the installation on Ortiz's dual. It's such a garbage design! Can't even get it mounted correctly. Such a wasted of money. It seriously need a redesign due to the wiring.

so i've had the ortiz tri-pod for 1.5 years now. when i first got it, the finish is just junk. the bondoing cracked when i sent it off for sanding because i want it hydro dipped in carbon fiber.
now, after it was all sanded down and dipped in carbon fiber, it looks super super awesome.
BUT, the way they molded the pods to the oem bezel. it won't sit against the dash flush. theres a gap on the right side a/c vent.
this is after it was sanded down and hydro dipped.
this is when it was mounted.
