Spooln i heard the turbo i have is capable of high 700 hp. am i mis informed? What if i do the id 2000,s? I have the full blown dual pump hanger, two walbros and an inline pro fuel rail, thats all i have so far on the fuel side. im gonna need a regulator, fuel filter and lines still.
Yeah, the 6765 will get you well over 700 whp. With larger injectors I would assume 750-800 whp on race fuel. My 6262 should get me close to 750 whp with the id2000's but ill be running e85 and the 6765 is larger than mine. It does spool about 500 rpm slower though.

750whp on the id2000's with the cooling benefits of e85,sounds great!!Spoolin what are your plans for the car? Also are there any drawbacks to running such a big injector? I was going for a high horsepower street car just for personal enjoyment. Now i thnk i want a 450-500whp twinscroll turbo/mainifold setup. Way off topic,my bad.

I'm just building mine for weekend fun and a hobby for street use. I may hit the track once in a while but that won't be until I get the tranny built.

As far as running a huge injector like the ID2000's, you would think there would be problems with it but there isn't. They idle just like a small injector. These injectors are the only ones out that I know of that are like this. There is a video I believe on youtube that has a set in a bone stock NA Honda and its idling perfect.

So is anyone in the market for a brand new set of id 1000 injectors brand new in the box? Im just gonna do the id2000's and be covered for the amount of fuel im gonna need. why screw around with the 1000's with the size of my turbo? Inline should have known better, lol. The 1000's had just came out when i ordered my complete turbo kit from them. Thats how long this build is taking me, but im almost there.

I'd wait on getting the 2000's until the price comes down unless you can get a good deal. I'm sticking with my 1000's for a few more months to see what happens.

I really hope the price of the ID 2000's/2200's goes down... For $950-$1K I could get my spare block sleeved by Benson.

Thank you guys for your opinion. So from what i understand it's better not to use heat wrap around manifold as it can lead to a manifold crack. Theoretical this can happen due to heat wrapping. But.....does anybody have experience with that over time or is just theory?
Edelbrock voids the warranty on a heat wrapped manifold - they have lots of experience.
In the V8 world, most headers are not supposed to be wrapped up near the primaries because this is a good way to warp and burn exhaust valves due to holding the heat in better and longer.

Do as you will . . .
