Opinion on a clutch for a 400whp sc'd car!
Hey guys, I've been doing research and I see that a lot of people like the ACT PP with OEM kit sold by hardtopguy... I was totally ready to buy this kit until i found the price without flywheel is over $850 shipped to canada (wholy shit is this pp gold plated, wtf?)
I see there is a lot of other options, and several people have tried the competition clutch kit.... can anyone say if this kit is actually streetable?
Stage 3.5 - Street/Strip Series 2600 Clutch Kit
"This segmented Ceramic material with a performance pressure plate will provide the ultimate in street and strip combinations. This assembly is suited for 150% increase in torque capacity. Provides quick but smooth engagement and extended life." - the PP has 2300-2600lbs of clamping force (depending on the kit) the sales guy said on the phone
Most importantly is there a good option for me that doesnt have a 9000% mark-up like the hardtopguy kit?
thanks for the advise guys!!

buy the PP direct from ACT and the clutch disk is 150 straight from honda
i had the comp clutch stage five the last owner put in and it wasnt very street friendly it was an on/off switch not a clutch
I'm currently using the competition clutch 2200lb pp and an OEM disk. it seems to be working well its easy on take off, doesnt make ANY noise and I mean any, when you quickly let off the clutch it grabs really quick and hard
my car is currently just bolt on power but im looking at buying a SC right now and I'm confident it will hold the power.

Or buy the ACT PP used from here and buy the OEM disc and TO bearing from a discounted Honda Parts site like me!
Grand total: $430- $210 for PP and $220 for disc, TO bearing, and the other bearing.

You need to find someone willing to separate the disc and PP
