i hope you didn't thread that brass T into your the stock sensor position... that is alot of weight for that spot to support with all the vibrations of the engine and such...

^My T fitting is installed directly to the block. No problems thus far.

I have read about a few cracking, but I think that was due to the design of the ones used... My fitting is much more rounded and beefier looking than the pics of the broken one I saw (the one I saw broken was a standard hex shaped one)...

Also, if a BSPT--->MPT adapter is not used (almost no T fittings are BSPT... at least none I have found in any local shops), I think that would cause extra vibrations/problems, as it would be in there much tighter than it would be if the proper fitting where used (pressure points on the threads from the improper thread pattern)...

Because if that little light comes on its to late anyway. You should run a braided line to the sender as opposed to installing the sender to the block.
