Oil pressure gauge issue

Oil pressure gauge issue
My mechanic installed my autometer gauges last weekend. They the carbon fibre series. We did water temp, boost and oil pressure.
The water temp and the boost gauge are working nicely. However the Oil pressure gauge is a little haywire.
We ran it off a tee piece where the oil runs from the block to the turbo. My turbo is oil cooled.
Its a mechanical gauge so the oil runs to the back of the gauge.
At idle im hitting 70psi and on load its going way past the the 100psi maximum to like a 6 oclock position.
From what Ive read 20-30psi is normal for idle and then 90-110 under WOT.
The car has been turboed for 2 months now and runs cool with no issues so Im pretty sure either its a gauge issue or we didnt instal it properly, but its such a dam simple installation. We grounded it to the same place we grounded the other gauges behind the stereo.
Any ideas?

70psi at idle is normal when the oil is cold. 20-30psi is nornmal when the oil is up to temp, ~90C. It generally takes my car about 10 minutes for the oil to get to about 80C assuming it's about 70F outside.

Checked again this morning. When car is up to operating temperature its 60psi at idle. Under load going way past maximum. Like 120psi.
Either the gauge is bugged or there is something wrong with my car.

Is that coolant operating temperature or oil operating temperature? The oil takes a lot longer to get up to temp. At least 10 minutes of driving (not idling), if not 15.
