Make sure you're using top notch hoses and fittings. You're running hot engine oil into your cabin. I've always run electric gauges just for that reason.

Cleanest way imo, is to use a sandwhich adapter.
Not only does it provide an easy way to pull oil from the block, it also gives you a place to feed the turbo as well, 2 birds and one stone.
