Oil Preasurre sender Installation Question
Hey guys I am about to install my aem oil preasurre gauge and I am going to be installing the supplied sender on the oil relocation kit where the oil filter sits. My question is that i got some brass fittings from napa that has a 1/2"npt male fitting that goes into a reducer which on the other end has a another fitting that reduces that to a 1/8"npt which is what the sender fits to. Is this set up ok to use, with all these fittings or would it be better to order a reducer from aeroquip which may have only one fitting between the two. Also with the weight of the reducer and the fittings would the oil relocation kit sandwich plate be strong enough to hold it with the engine vibrations. My main concern is I do not want it to leak. If you guys have any better suggestions on proper ways to install it I am all ears. Thanks again for the help

yes from what Chris from Inline had told me the oil relocation kit accepts 1/2"npt male and the sender is 1/8"npt which I would need a female end. On the reloc. kit there are 2 holes on the side of it and this is where i would put it. You can see them on the right hand side here on the picture. Btw thanks for the site.
