my turbo sits right there.. i had to do a relocation and there wasn't room for the cooler ether.. so i wanted to have both . so i did what i did

No offense,but I now have a higher appreciation for my pristine bone stock 06' engine compartment.

The stock oil cooler/warmer really helps with getting the oil to operating temperature, especially in the winter. Last winter, i didn't run coolant lines to my stock oil cooler and the oil wouldn't go over 110 in 30 degree weather. I have since installed a MOCAL oil cooler, and my oil temps in 30-40 degree weather is at least 50 degrees warmer than before. I would much rather have the stock oil cooler than none, that's for sure!

I have the same setup but mounted it on the AC compressor location, works perfect.
Also had to do this because of turbo/manifold.

Here is my latest UOA, and here is my setup.I currently have 211,000 miles on my car and it still runs like new.

It's a mod that I came up with to get my engine to last as long as possible with minimum maintenance. It's working great.

Why such a long coolant line to filter? It seems about 3"+ too long? Reasoning?
