Default Oil and Filter

Going boost in a few weeks and just wondering what kind of to use in the motor now? I used Mobil 1 with their filter and was just curious if there is a better oil to use for boosted cars? thanks in advance!

i use joe gibbs race oil, has more zinc in it for better wear, always use a o.e.m. honda s2000 oil filter, the best out there, its a different part number. meant for higher rpms.

You are running an oil relocation kit? What filters does it accept, s2000 or something else?
My canton relocation took Ford v6 filters so I used an STP filter for a ford contour.

You don't need to change to different oil and filters if you're boosted. Stick with OEM spec stuff and you will be fine.

^^ I agree... for a stock engine I would stay with OEM spec oil 10w30 like mobil 1 and use OEM filters. you can buy filters cheap if you buy them in bulk from http://www.handa-accessories.com/

After I break in my new engine with regular non synthetic oil I have 2 cases of Brad Penn 15w-40 and oem filters. But I have a lowered compression built block
