Default Offical COMPTECH Supplied SC Pulley Sizes

This is all for reference. I am making this post because SOS lists the pulleys as 4.4 for AP1 and 4.2 for AP2, which are incorrect.

I have the 100% real pulley sizes that are issued from COMPTECH with their old (well now old with the relase of the new charger soon) Paxton Novi 1000 Charger Kits. I received this information straight from CT-Engineering.

AP1 99-03 = 4.6
AP2 04-05 = 4.3
AP2 06+ = 4.1

yeah i was seeing some discrepancies concerning pulley sizes too. i've seen a lot of differences between what is the stock ap1, the ap2/ap1 7psi pulley size, and what is the 7/8 psi pulley. there's a lot of variation going through threads but mainly i think of sos as the correct grouping but now ct-engineering says differently?

sos stating comptech pulley sizes:
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...000_SC_pulleys/
4.4" @ 5.7 psi, ap1
4.2" @ 7 psi, ap2
4" @ 8 psi
3.8" @ 9 psi
3.6" @ 10 psi
3.4" @ 11 psi
3.2" @ 12 psi

s2000turbo stating comptech sizes:
http://www.s2000turbo.com/index.php?option...id=95&Itemid=27
5" @ 5.5 psi
4.75" @ 6 psi
4.5" @ 7 psi
4.25" @ 8 psi
4" @ 9 psi
3.75" @ 10 psi
3.5" @ 11 psi

ctech info:
4.6" = ap1
4.3" = ap2 (04-05)
4.1" = ap2 (06+)

Hmmm, interesting finding. I'm interested to know because I bought a used AP2 CTSC with AC kit a few weeks ago, for my AP1.

Hmm, the S2000turbo thread is incorrect... He measured the overall height of the pulley.. Your supposed to measure the top of the "teeth"

Another thing I thought of it, on the DBW cars the 06+ kits come with an even smaller pulley, and the rumor is that the FMU and stock injectors max out with the AP2 pulley on an AP1 (7psi non after/intercooled). Yet Comptech sells the 06+ kits with 4.1 inch pulleys... which would be about 8psi on an AP1... Do they have the same FMU? Or maybe it will not work because of the high RPM...

Probably the higher RPM, cause I know it requires more fuel.

and direct from SOS's pulley site, which is where your illustration came from:

It is important to note that the accepted industry practice to measure pulley diameter is at the top of the pulley teeth. Our pulleys are measured and listed by this standard. Other manufactures, including Comptech, do not advertise pulleys by this standard.
link is here: http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...000_SC_pulleys/

The kit I bought has the 5.5 psi (4.2") and 7 psi (4.0") pulleys (for AP2--it came off a 2005), which would make 7 and 8 psi, respectively, on my AP1. My current plan is to run the 4.2" pulley without other engine mods--my understanding is that this is the max I can run without full engine management and bigger injectors--and keep the 4" in case I decide to go with an AEM and bigger injectors in the future. Flexibility is good....

They don't use fmu for the AP2 06 & up. They use reflash and injectors.
