Have been searching for the past hour on the site can't find a specific answer since everyone has different opinions of course. What I need is a specific answer from people who HAVE or ARE using nitrous 100 shot and up. These are the last part I need to get my setup done and I'd like to order them today

Right now, tuned on a 80whp. I got held up while tuning for the 100whp, but I don't think the plugs I'm using will be an issue. I'm gonna keep using the NGK 7173 plugs. If you want, the NGK 7405 plugs will be the same thing, but a heat range 9 instead of heat range 8 like the 7173 plugs are. You will fowl the 7405 plugs out quicker though.

thanks disclaimer about how long do your plugs last every oil change?

The 7173 plugs? They last a long time. I change em more often if I spray more just to check on things. I used the 7173 plugs when I wasn't spraying and they'd last a long time still. I never fowled one so I can't say how long they could last. Definitely longer than a couple of oil changes.

do you think a heat range of 9 will help deter detonation better ( one would think so ) but will it take away from the n/a power any other time? What gapping do you recommend with the 7173's?

Do a 100 shot pull with the number 8s and see what they look like. I think they will hold the heat with a 100 shot.

My friend ran a 110 shot on his k20 on stock oridiums and luckly they held up fine with a few pulls.

I'm doing that...prob 2 steps colder I think for safety if they foul quickly...I'll move to 1 step colder...will this affect my tune if I get it tuned for 2 step colder and switch back to 1 step colder?
