new flywheel with new clutch?
i have a ctsc w/ ac and was looking at getting an act street disc clutch. i was wondering if anyone had any good opions on getting a new flywheel with it or if resurfacing the stock one is better.

I highly recommend going with a light weight flywheel. The lightened flywheel allows the engine to rev quicker and pass more torque to the ground. It takes a little getting familiar with it to drive smoothly but once you master it your supercharged beast will be much more fun to drive.
I have been very happy with the Comptech flywheel.
I've been running the Comptech flywheel combined with the ACT pressure plate and factory disk. I just had my clutch apart after 24,000 miles including 20,000 miles supercharged. Most of those supercharged miles were at over 400 rwhp. The factory disk was thin but the flywheel and ACT pressure plate were in great shape with no hot spots and no signs of wear. I just put a new factory disk in it and used the same flywheel and pressure plate.
I did change out the throwout bearing, it had more mileage on it.
