New FB340 Intank Fuel Pump
#143
Anyone with a fuel pressure gauge run this pump with the gas tank below 1/4? Crappy Walboro pumps overheat and loose FP if you get below a 1/4 tank or even just on really hot days, curious if this pump does the same thing...

Will this eliminate the need for a rewire that everyone seems to be doing with boosted cars to up the voltage? I am looking to keep stock wiring and hopefully resolve my lean condition in VTEC I am dealing with.
If not I'll just rewire my Walbro to run str8 from the battery.

You'll want to re-wire it regardless of what whp your running. I'd recommend it on a stock car.

But do you have a FP gauge? If not, you'll have no idea if you're loosing pressure. Takes many hours of driving before it gets dangerous, until then it's just annoying to watch.

Correction! Fuel Pressure Regulator has 4 turns left, afr 11.9 > 13.1 Spike > 12.4 all the way to the redline. This fuel pump must be doing something right. LOVE IT. This is with 7psi COmptech kit where most people max out FPR and I dont have to. VERY COOL.
O and it is silent compared to walbro.
Thanks Guys!

Drove mine yesterday. Did not solve the issue but much more quiet. Love it.
