Hmm, okay where do I purchase this fuel pump? Need it! lol

EDIT:
Never mind found it....

answered my own question too by looking at their site...

The 340 has over 30% more flow than your 255 pumps and is perfect for applications that demand more flow while keeping the existing stock wiring.

If not I'll just rewire my Walbro to run str8 from the battery.

while i am not a pro mechanic nor a shop owner, i can tell you this. the pumps provide more flow if you provide them with 14volts as opposed to the 10-12 they see on teh stock wiring. rewiring the pump helps at higher power levels, but its so easy to do, why not do it now that way when your ready to jump up its all ready done.

i rewired my walbro and it sounds healthy now wish this fb340 pump was out when i was first doing the pump swap. one day i will swap to this pump.

Yea but I rather keep the stock wiring and get rid of the annoying buzzing, whining, and singing my Walbro produces.

the fb340 pump is much quieter then a walbro. you dont have to rewire, but its a good idea for the long haul. so what is your ultimate goal powerwise? what is your setup?

Details here: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/871...#entry20838828

But to give you a quick overview...
Comptech SC @ 7psi. AFR in VTEC Stuck @ 13.1 and Fuel Pressure Regulator has 5 turns to go. I turn it 5 times and bottom it out, low end becomes pig rich but VTEC stays at 13.1 AFR. Wtf? I turn it all the way down last 1/2 a turn and it spikes to 13.8 in top end and low end feels like ass.... Back off and lean it out and its back to 13.1.

I must be lacking fuel up top, I am hoping this pump will resolve it and yield the 12-12.5 AFR at the top END.

No EMS? our pump will flow more then the walbro but I would recommend getting some sort of engine management if you don't already have one.

I hear yah. However with such low boost it's just a little more I need tO make it work. I wasn't looking to make more power and wanted to be done here. It's not worth $$$ wise to dump all that cash at this point.

Anyways if this doesn't work I'll throw the catty back on and that should fix it. But anywho.

Can you guys get the pump to 02138 by Friday?

Keep me posted EOE. My AFRs are totally safe with my base SOS 6 psi on my '05 with TP, TB, etc. I was thinking of either re-wiring or getting this pump even though my AFRs are totally fine (12.0/12.1 for the most part in 3rd gear and up at redline). My hope was that by either the rewiring or using this pump would allow me to decrease or lean out the RRFPR so I'm not running so rich elsewhere. Hopefully that makes sense?
