Need some help hooking up Vacuum lines
On the 06 there are a couple vacuum lines versus the previous models with more. I found one to be the brake vacuum line (which I don't want use) and the other is the one that comes upside of the intake manifold.
These are what I need to hook up:
1. Boost gauge
2. BOV
3. Inline MBC
4. Tial 50mm Wastegate
I was told that the top of the wastegate doesn't need to be hooked up. Its something to do with atmospheric pressure. With that I was going to drill a hole and tap the intake manifold after the TB and T it with a metal t fitting that the boost line uses with the crush sleeve. The other side I got a fitting that I could connect to a vacuum line or leave for anything else down the line.
The other Vacuum line on that comes up the side of the intake manifold I would t 2 or 3, whatever I would need to complete the whole vacuum system. So I would use one of the T's (not the tapped one on the manifold) and goto the MBC then there to the side of the wastegate. The other T would goto the BOV. So possibly I don't need to use the other one off the metal T.
Am I missing anything here or does everything sound o.k. Thanks!

O.K. talked to a couple of my friends today. They say I should tap my cold side outlet pipe and use that to goto the MBC and that to the wastegate. So all I need will be vacuum line to the boost gauge and bov unless I need another one to goto the other line on the wastegate?

i am been told/read about this issue, and i think the side is the vaccum line and the top is for the boost controller. Maybe some1 with 100% certainty can back me up on this.

Anything going to the WG is best taken from as close to the turbo as possible. The top WG vac. port is for the boost controller to connect to it. The side one connects directly to a pressure source to the wastegate side port and that line can be Tee'd to the boost controller and from the boost controller go also on the top port of the WG.
The BOV can be taken from the intake manifold. Just snip one of the existing lines if you don't have room and put a T fitting.
