Need help with clutch master cylinder
Ok so to take It from the top I just changed out my clutch to a Competition 6 puck set up. My problem Is that since I put It in the pedal Is all the way at the top when It engages so I got under the dash and tried to adjust the adjusment rod. It didnt matter how far I turned ethier way left or right the engagement point stayed the same,All the way at the top of the pedal. so do I need to change out my master cylinder or both my master and slave cylinder or Is there somthing that I dont know about adjusment on are master cylinder.I did a search and did not find the info I was looking for. All Input Is welcomed.
Thanks.
Thanks.

There are 2 adjustments for the clutch pedal. Which one are you adjusting?
Is the fork installed backwards/Slave mounted correctly? Was the master and slave ok before the install?

i have comp stage 4 iron man in my06. I had the opposite problem when I first installed the clutch. I had to run the master cyl rod all the way out just to get it to shift. After about 500 miles of break in I was able to readjust the rod back to where it was to begin with. I spoke to an engineer at comp clutch about this problem and he said my experience was normal for six puck iron man clutch. One thing you might check. Make sure you have at least 1/2 inch of freeplay in the pedal before the rod is pushed. If you adjust the rod to tight the master cyl will not completely release and will slowly push the slave out a little further each time you mash the clutch. Make sure you have freeplay in the pedal. Hope this helps.
