Aye, remember SO-2s cannot get up to proper operating temps (unless you do massive burn outs) in sub 40 degree weather so everytime you floor it your taking a risk of your rear end coming out unexpectedly and the situtation turning for the worst. When in full boost, the car feels a lot like driving an FSAE car. More like rocket propulsion than acceleration. But also very controllable.

So what exactly causes the "fluttering" noise at low speeds in higher gears? Like gentle acceleration up a hill in 6th gear @ 40 mph leads to light fluttering or chirping noises from the BOV. I'm guessing that there is just enough air flowing through the turbine to cause the compressor to build very slight positive intake pressure (which is not needed). The intake pressure builds, and reaches a certain level at which the BOV vents, the intake pressure drops, the BOV shuts, the compressor again builds slight pressure and the process repeats itself. Thats my guess at least.
Can anyone clarify or elaborate on what is going on here. I think it's just the way that the BOV handles lower magnitude pressure releases.
Should make for a few interesting "WTF is that" comments from first time passengers.

I love this one. I've posted something similar a LONG time ago in some random thread somewhere. I've appended my turbo results here. Lots of assumptions here (like perfect traction and no aero or frictional resistances) but the comparison is still valid.
This comparison confirms my thoughts and hopes that if my car would have had traction in first gear when it was stock, it will also have traction in third gear with the turbo. Note the similar maximum acceleration numbers between stock first gear and turbo third gear.
All of the information here was obtained knowing the engine torque, the total gearing, and the weight of the car.

Very nice, congrats! I especially like your dyno overlays... they're more informative than any peak numbers could be. According to your comparo graph, the difference between a stock S2K and a supercharged one are night and day, then the difference between a supercharged and a inline pro turbo are like heaven and hell. The area you have under the curve is just evil.

for the most part, yes this is the biggest turbo you can get in there. Its not PUNY but compared to the other turob's we have used... its small.
this turbo on higher boost level with a good exhaust system can still make 500+ rwhp.
