stock head bolts held up alright for the tuning session, dont know what to tell ya. its all in the tune

you know what they should make? an adapter that is one piece no wires in between no soldering just a plastic block with a male connector on one side and a female on the other. sorry off topic rambling

I'm assuming the head didn't lift after 18 psi 1 because of the tune but also because the manifold flows so well and the dp being routed short through the fender. anyone else have comments on why the head wouldn't lift?

this is just the beginning for the car though, i have no intentions of stopping here.

built long block, twin disk, intake manifold/throttle body/4 more injectors, rear end, tranny are all in the works for 2009.

if you're conservative with the timing and not getting detonation the peak cylinder pressures won't get to the critical levels needed to lift the head or break something else. the length of the burn and how long the burn pushes down on the crankshaft is what gives the huge gains in power for a FI setup, you don't need to be all crazy with the timing.
