They are thinking about the ET street drag radial not the ET streets that you are running.

stock rim's with stock tire up front and mickey thompson et street 26x10.5 in rear. 11psi in tires.

are we talking about the same tire here.....

that is the same tire i run. if you get to low, it can work against you. you have to find the sweet spot. and yes, too low of tire pressure makes a sloppy side wall, especially at high speed. that was prob why it was har dto control on the end of track

O, you have the bias ply. Well, it's not uncommon when you run a bias ply and a radial tire on the same car that it is unstable up top. It's clearly stated on their website.

" CAUTION: It is not recommended that radial and non-radial tires be mixed on the same vehicle.."

Every person I know that runs those tires with a radial up front, complains about it being unstable up top, but they run low pressure and never listen . Sometimes low pressure isn't better. The S2000 is way to heavy to be running 11psi of pressure, IMHO. I would raise the pressure up to 18 or so, and start your way back. But that's just my opinion.

Every setup is different, but if my car got "sideways" on the big end of the track, I'd put some more pressure in the rear tires.

We'll see what happens then. Reason we stuck with that way was it was working for the 60ft and 1/8th very well.

You'd be shocked, it might work better with more pressure. I always sweep a big range of pressure to find the best spot. What works at 11psi, might work better at 14psi or vice versa.

You are making 100whp more than me and we run the same ET/MPH, I've only taken 2 passes with this car, so I have NO seat time. So I wouldn't say you are 60'n all that great, (much like me)

These cars are tricky to get out of the hole for sure.

How much better then a 1.5 sixty ??? lol
What did you 1/8th mile?
My car only saw 23-24 psi in the passes, probaly around 620whp. This was our first time out on the gas as well.
