Awesome build, i remember talking to you at the MSA car show last year.... I just want to know how you pull this off without having reliability issues.... i want to turbo my car quite badly(nowhere near as much HP) and im really afraid of constant maintenance... i just want a set up that i can hook up that adds a bit more hp, without having to worry about constantly breaking something...any suggestions?
yea this is a total different setup then what i had at MSA.

Somewhat.. I think a bunch of retards trying to tune one of our cars that has worked on small block chevys their whole life doesn't really help either. Make sure whatever you do you find a reputable tuner.

YEah i understand a bit of the myth... Ive never owned a vehicle that was turbo'd through the aftermarket, and even when i owned a turbo vehicle, i never modified it too much. My only experience with a turbo vehicle so far was an EVO 4 i owned for about 3 months (basically taking care of it for a friend while he was deployed) while i was stationed in England. All that was done to it was a downpipe and an exhuast. And as far as a tuner goes, im originally from the NY/NJ area where there are alot of reputable shops and what not, but i have my doubts about this area ever since Mr. Polk Sr. passed away....
p.s. sorry kutsujula for the threadjack, i apologize

Extra maintenance from going turbo is largely a myth. It comes from people not using the right parts (wrong exhaust manifold nuts backing out for example), or poor quality parts (exhaust manifolds cracking, downpipes developing leaks at either end because they dont fit right). A turbo setup done right is good enough for OEM vehicles to last well past 100,000 miles. There's more OEM turbo vehicles than there are supercharged vehicles. Don't buy into the nonsense that a turbo setup automatically means extra maintenance.
and thats the part you can affect by doing a good setup.
A good turbo setup will probably serve you good for a long time with minor or no issues as long as you are within a reasonable power increase.
I myself find kutsujula here to be a taking a big risk with these numbers(in terms of reliability), but thats my personal opinion
I might have missed it. But what did that rear end on the prev. page come from?
