Haha, nice vid Jeff! I guess we need to turn it all the way up when we get the tranny in it and get more video.

What's even more impressive was that it made it to and from Mexico w/o being trailored! lol

how loud is this compared with your previous setup with rear exit single exhaust? I ask as I had thought of using a fender exit DP although I was thinking of using an E-cutout so I could switch from fender to standard exit... just thought I would ask and see if you thought having the fender exit draws too much attention...

I am not sure about his setup, I would also like to know. My open downpipe is LOUD unbearable to my neighbors ha.

When I built my previous car with the ILP kit, I modified the wastegate tube to go into the downpipe. As the downpipe was going down with a pretty steep angle from the turbo to get to the exhaust piping level under the car, the WG flow did angle in nicely with the exhaust flow.
How bad is this power wise? Any clues? I heard it was not as good as an open WG, but is the difference noticeable or theoretical?

Don't think I would stand an open wastegate, sound wise.

And btw kutsu, nice video. Im completely fed up by youtube videos filmed with a phone cam where you can't see ****. Videos of acceptable quality are rare to come by.

*Edit - Picture of the downpipe or it didn't happen! And no I'm not a master welder before anyone informs me.

^ that wouldn't really effect power but it may effect boost control.
