im just about done with my build and cannot get the car to fire, it cranks but wont fire. ive checked sensors and checked the timing multiple times cause i know it wont fire if its off at all. i have fuel pressure but its not getting into the engine so i checked spark and im not getting that either? another problem is my fuel pump, if i plug the oem ecu in the pumps come on and when i plug in the aem nothing? any help would but thankful. i live in alaska so theres not to many shops to take it to, i want to get it fired before i take it to the dyno and to get tuned

call aem, the aem ecu sometimes does that. its a glitch in the aem. you will have to send it to aem and have it fixed. google it, thats where i read about it about a year ago. that is 100% it.

Things to check:

When you plug the AEM in, did you have a laptop connected to it and load the calibration map?
Base cal. map loaded? What calibration file are you running?

When ignition is on position, the fuel pump should prime.

I can't even get the Aem to connect to the laptop? I've tryed multiple cords and it won't connect

are you sure the usb you are using on the laptop is for transfering data, bc some are only for charging

I tryed every USB port on the laptop. As far as the cable you think the one provided with the ems would work.
