The only difference is the stroke and the trigger wheel on the crank which I already changed . I'm using my 2002 head and intake manifold so it will still be a cable throttle.

Oh cool. I stopped looking into it after I found a salvage S for 3K. So it was take a chance on a long block swap or pay 3K for a short block and tear my engine apart yada yada yada. So parted out the salvage swapped engines, sold my original scored cylinder engine. Wanted to save my original engine but got good coin for it. I was moving so didn't want to lug or store a non-working engine.

Good info to know about the F22c blocks. Thanks!

Here's an old video of a 2nd gear pull from 40mph . I can't wait to see what the new setup is going to do.
