Default Max Boost on stock engine with SC

searching for max boost has on stock engine. I did the search but my eyes are spinnin from the off subject things im reading so please assist if you have solid answers.

I have an 02 vortech SC w/ aftercooler running at 11.77lbs of boost @ 8400RPM cutoff on the stock head as of now. What is the max boost i can safely use as this is my daily driver. The car was tuned by church automotive testing and shawn church says once i get my RC 650 injectors put in he can tune me up to 14lbs at 9krpms. He says ill be at about 420-430hp. Am i pushing it? Any input will be helpful. Thanks in advanced!!!

Alot of a boosted daily driver is how you drive it but more boost will always tend to shorten the lifespan. 400 hp is quite a bit for a daily driven, high compression engine

Read Sideways post on how to maximize the vortech supercharger...excellent post and should answer most of your questions, if not then PM him. I would say he is the resident expert on everything Vortech

AFAIK the vortech is a 5th injector setup. When you move to larger injectors, do you ditch the 5th supplied with the kit?

Nice numbers...after about 12psi on the vortech you are starting to push it a bit. However, depending on how you drive it it should hold up.

Not odd, impressive. I'm running lean on stock injectors at ~330hp @ 6.5psi. That is with a CTSC though. Perhaps I should investigate into my running lean.
