No you dont wish you were running 9 to 1. LOL.
The cams are too big for that. Your perfect the way you are. And if you havent seen the all out war going on lately with info on head gaskets, you simply need to search 3mm and you will learn a ton
You have the perfect setup. And with a good tuner, can throw whatever you want at it.
Remember there have been a few s2's making 700+ on all STOCK engine.
So the motor will handle whatever you can give it.
Its all on your tuner. Id say youll be able to get 500ish on pump with most tuners. Wanna get closer to the edge, your gonna need someone like mase who has done it, and knows whats going on.
Keep us posted, need any info PM me. I dont mind helping.
thats the exact info i was looking for i appreciate it.. my tuner says with this turbo he will be able to make me close to 600 whp safely so ill keep you guys posted

ill post pics of the new setup by this weekend, just waiting on a coupler

10:1 CR is awesome and like s2knvegas said, you can get a lot out of your car on just pumpgas. The 6262 is a little better version of the gt35R basically. I know Mase tuned a car @ 19-20psi on 93 pumpgas with that same manifold and a 35R. Made around 520whp Im pretty sure. The guy is on this forum, cant remember his name. Had a built block on his but thats ok because the stock engine can take it too. His may have been 9:1 CR so you could achieve 500whp on less boost...say 16-17psi. I run a bone stock engine and 11.1:1 CR and make 431whp on a 3076R and 93 pumpgas. Good luck with it.

Wait your running a 1MM head gasket?

That does NOT convert over to 10 to 1 compression ratio unless you have other things done to bring the ratio down besides the gasket..

Good to finally have those numbers.
Looking at that, yeah the 3mm head gasket should be taken off the market. Its trash. Not one sane builder, or person would look at those numbers, know ANYTHING about cams, and run a 3mm.
Motor will absolutely be ruined.
On a lighter note, you could prob play a game of basketball in there with the 3mm on, thered be so much room...

This makes it a whole lot easier.

http://www.aircooled.net/gnrlsite/resource...ninfo/calcs.htm

by what i calc you have 10.7 to 1
Thats fine. just remember whoever made that s2k specs chart, did the 49cc total chamber volume with the zero deck. Stock head gasket is .030 thou thick. But the motor is a positive deck motor. So the head gasket brings it to zero.
So when you do your calcs youll see. Start doing a stocker first. 0 deck makes 11 to 1. Then go from there only adding the thickness of your gasket over stock.
in the 1mm case, its only 9 thou thicker than stock. Making it calc to 10.7 to 1.
Which is perfect for a ton of boost. Considering you didnt need to drop it anyways, now that its just a tad, will only help. Go too far, and you lose the efficiency of the chambers burn design.

Oh yeah, wed need to know the volume of the eyebrows in the pistons to get a gnats ass number. prob 10.687 to one or some shiz, LOL. unless that is, that 49+ cc total chamber volume has those included. anybody know?

ill take more pics when the new turbo is completly installed.. im just waiting on a 90 degree coupler for the intercooler to the turbo(2.25" to 2.50")... this kit i hear is super rare i dont see many s2000's running them
Not THAT rare.

How was their customer service? Nathan really screwed my kit up BAD (wrong ems, wrong fuel pump, crappy mounting design of the FMIC (only a single tab on one end on my kit), wrong size T-fitting for the block, no 3/4" adapter for the turbo to drain line, no inverted flare fitting for the oil supply at the turbo, etc...

I made 522rwhp on 9:1 compression built motor, with the standard 750cc injectors. Just so you know what the standard kit is good for.

I think my review of the kit here probably killed a few sales. I made it blatantly obvious to Nathan that I would be doing a real time install / review of the kit... It still took a few tries to get everything right. That is what I read about them on nsxprime.... crappy customer service, but once the parts were all there and installed, it was quality work.
