3 quick questions... For interested parties...

1) How is the Precision warranty affected (if at all) by not running coolant through the cartridge?

2) How close is the downpipe to the AC lines? Any insulation required (noticed the head shield does not cover the AC lines near the passenger strut tower)?

3) If the OPS "dummy" sensor had been disabled, how will you know if you have low oil pressure? There is no sensor to output to the EMS (stock configuration, or course)...

John
1. The Precision Turbo Supplied in the kit is not water cooled.

2. The heat shield in the picture is not the heat shield that is included in the kit. Further Heat Wrap is supplied for those AC Lines, and do need shielding from heat.

3. The "dummy" sensor has not been disabled. Its the vtec pressure switch.

You are going to offer your manifolds with a coating of some type?
Most likely, NO. However, if i customer insists, I will be happy to ship the item(s) to which ever coating mfg they choose.

Over the past several years, Ive watched mixed reviews on coatings. Some have very good reviews, while others have poor reviews.

The coatings tend to flake off over time, from what ive seen, some of this has to do with the weather/geographical conditions of each user.

So the supplied turbo is not ball bearing turbo? Are water cooled ball bearing turbos better than the supplied turbo? Why did you choose these turbos?

What about different turbo options?

The Precision Billet 5857 supplied in the kit is a journal bearing, correct.

Some people prefer the ball bearing turbos, they will spool faster, however at an added expense. You do have to run the water lines on the ball bearing turbos if you want to keep the precision warranty.

These 5857's are very similar to the gt30 variant, but with the new billet compressor wheel technology.

So the testing you about to do will be with a GT30 equivalent turbo? If that is the case the numbers will definitely fall short of what those of us produced with 35rs. Doesn't sound like there will be a fair comparison.

I dont understand what your trying to say here.

Ive already done testing and know what the engine will produce with: 5857, gt3076r, gt3582r. And we are about to know what a billet 6262 bb will do.
