Yeah, but the AP has options I want... Like the Valet and Anti-theft maps...

John
I thought the same thing before I purchased my AP. I used to own an 04 STi with AP. Turns out I never used it unless I was changing the map after upgrades, which wasn't that often. I could've had a better open source tune (specific to my car) for less money in the end.

Just offering my .02.

Valet* Similar to having another tune for AEM(stand alone)which will allow the car to run, idle and maneuver at low speeds but nothing beyond that.

Anti-theft* Use your imagination

Get a used sti turbo and give it another try, maybe some injectors, sti top mount IC, then tune it up.
The LGT has the same turbo/powerplant as the STi, I believe... The VF-40 is about the same size as a GT28RS, I believe...

Anti-theft maps = no spark/timing... Car will not turn over.

Valet - Cannot rev past 3000RPM.

Sorry to thread jack, not my intention! Back on topic!

John

Your beliefs and the truth are not the same unfortunately. Now let's get back on topic. How are the DBW kits coming?

No and hell no.

No aem kit will ever be carb legal. I seriously doubt Mase is going to drop 10k+ for california and give up a car for a year or so either
