Map sensor reading high, overfueling
Hi
I have an 02 s2k with tts supercharger, AEM EMS, omni 4 bar map sensor and AEM uego
Last week the car started overfueling massively and running really bad. I had to pull 50% fuel out just to get it to run on boost
Taking a couple of logs and comparing to previous logs the load reading is much higher, several psi higher at higher rpm's
I've compared previous maps back to the last rolling road session and all the calibrations for the map sensor and fuel are correct
I put the old Honda 10.8 psi map sensor on and a calibration for the from another rolling road session so I know that map is good and that also over fuelled. No old logs to compare but again had to take out loads of fuel to get it to run ok and back on the AFR gauge.
Fuel pressure is a steady 3.4 bar, plugs swapped, fuel pressure regulator swapped, all kind of unesseccary as it looks like the map sensor is providing inacurate data
As both map sensors are reading too high I can only imagine it is a wiring fault, the calibration can't be wrong as I've used several old cals and even checked against the wizard for the map sensor config.
Any ideas where I can go now, is there any resistors in the wiring somewhere for the map sensor that could be faulty? All other sensors seem to read fine so *probably* not an earth fault. Difficult to trace the wiring really is it goes into the loom!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
