Default machined head



For all of you FI people out there with a machined head aka alaniz, laskey etc.. or different thickenss head gasket have you noitced any differences in temp readings after the install?

Not from the head. I have noticed significant difference from the cast iron liners where it heat soaks more when stopped.

intresting...

before the head, gasket, (at 10.8 lbs) my temp was around 184-189 never got into the 190's

since the install my temp is around 198-208...(at 14.5lbs)
