Default Lower HP numbers after many dyno pulls?

Hey guys I recently picked up a used Comptech kit, it is aftercooled and im running a 3.2" pulley on an AP1. The car made 380whp, however after many pulls during the tuning it started to make a little less power after each pull. We had to leave the car off for about 30 minutes and then it started to make good power numbers again. The tuner said its most likely not the motor but the blower heating up a lot causing it to make less power? He said the IAT's were in good range, could it be the novi 1000? maybe something wrong? I don't see any oil leaks at this time. Any ideas?

Heat soak my friend.

Welcome to owning a supercharger. This is nothing out of the ordinary

lol ya its what I figured I just wanted to get a perspective on the matter... I'm actually building a cold air system with a block off to keep the warm air from the engine bay out. I'll post it up once its done and I get it dyno'd again to see if it helps.

Cool man, I wouldn't be to worried. Heat is quite the problem with these cars, turbo cars do it too, especially sitting in a shop with limited air flow

Currently, I run Amsoil 10-40. Will be moving to Brad Penn 20-50 on my next change

Perhaps I should go with a higher grade oil as well, may help the temps. what setup are you running?

I'm on a forward facing 66mm Borg warner turbo setup. I'd certainly recommend stepping up to a thicker oil if you plan to make some decent power.
