Default Looking to rebuild before turbo.

Hello, I'm looking at these engine rebuild kits from Enginepartsonly.com

http://www.enginepartsonly.com/2002-...d-kit-ek210-3/
and are they a quality rebuild kit? Looking to refresh my motor a bit before I turbo it. I haven't seen any post about this rebuild kit on this forum and there are mixed reviews about the quality of their products.
Thanks for the help

Parts are not OEM, you sure you want to go through all that trouble/labor to put cheap Chinese(or worse) knockoff parts in there? You have no idea where this crap comes from, do you?

True, just going to order all OEM parts and not worry about the headache of knockoff parts

How many miles are on your motor now? Have you done compression/leakdown tests?

Depending on what exactly your trying to fix or 'freshen up', my consensus and .02 is If you got time labor and money for a complete engine overhaul on the engine thats in it and not have a complete other one. Just turbo the one ya got and you can probably get by for awhile and collect stuff for your overhaul. Unless its considerably damaged or what not maybe you kno its history or something I dont. Have you done compression test on it? does it sound healthy?

Theres a few things you have to consider first; Do alot of thinking ahead like I was uptop, thinking in your case thats quite the downtime for a overhaul you have another car? you need a daily?

BTW those engine Kits are complete garbage. You do kno. what these engine are made of and capable of ya? Unless you really like bustin ur knuckles and grease on your fenders Do it right the first time id rather not see a part out, lost interest project for sale. You can sweat and bleed on the car just no tears.

Anyways ranted long enough Lol. be more specific with why you think u need overhaul maybe.
