Default Log Manifold vs Tubular Manifold

I am getting ready to start my turbo project but I am stuck already do I get a tubular or log manifold.

Pfab Log Manifold
3 inch pipe 300.00
External Dump Tube 150.00

= 875

Pfab Tubular Manifold
3 inch down pipe 3
External Dump Tube 150.00

= 1350

Looking for 320whp for now I know both manifolds can support the whp and I know tubular can crack but is there a big difference in power between the manifolds? I just figure it would be better to buy what I need to support 500whp now and not have to worry about it later

You're probably not going to get 320 whp on a log manifold at 5-7 psi. If your goal is 500 whp, tubular is the only way I would even consider. To me, logs are good for cheap and generally durable. Tubulars are good for performance. I have had both. I had problems with both. Pang(p-fab) repaired my tubular manifold and it's been fine since then (somebody else built it).

I can't speak for that particular manifold but I easily got 320rwhp out of the IP log manifold. With an AEM EMS I bet I could have had 340-360rwhp as compared to the emanage.

u can get either kit and still make 500, you will just have to run more boost on the log set up to reach the same power as the tubular, but aside from that i say go tubular

Why don't you go with a short top mount tubular like the lovefab minime? I think that pfab makes one similar to that. I use Lovefab's and make great power. I'm sure you could still pull off low 300s even with 5 or 6 psi.

On stock compression with a rev hard log mani i made 308@8psi. On 9:1cr pistons and a tubular mani everything else the exact same i made 332@8psi

the tubular manifold and one option is for standard single wastegate or and extra 125.00 for a Dual Tial 44mm waste gate exist what is the difference or which one is better?

exactly what it says, one manifold has ont wastegate flange for one tial wastegate and the other has 2 flanges for 2 wastegates, the dual will flow more but unless your getting into crazy horsepower you will be fine with the single wastegate
